Domaine Faiveley 1er Cru Clos des Myglands 2017 Burgundy Pinot Noir
One bottle left.
Look at how the average Vivino ratings (out of 5 points) for this wine have been rising emphatically, every vintage:
I'm not a fan of the way Burgundy prices have lost their connection to reality over the last ten years and I'm not even a huge fan of the wider Faiveley portfolio, but their Myglands estate is a rare and extraordinary success story in the farfetched world of greedy Burgundy because it massively OVERdelivers on its price. No, it's not "cheap" but it delivers a gorgeous hit of Pinot's special Burgundian signature at a price that will barely get you the basic village wine of most producers in Burgundy (and this is a 1er Cru - and a Monopole at that!). I honestly think that this could be the only good value red wine in the whole of Burgundy, certainly by the standards of what is currently available in Australia. But make the most of it because the price of Myglands is on the rise too.
