TOB exclusive import: Chateau Reynier Bordeaux Superieur rouge Cabernet/Merlot 2018

Château Reynier Bordeaux Supérieur 2018. 50/50 Cabernet Sauvignon/Merlot.
Holy dooly! There is some serious aromatic lift to this little gem with masses of wood spice, cassis and leaf, some citrus warmth, and then more berry fruit pushing through from under the oak-matured characters, crisp and precise. The palate is somehow rich at a perfectly elegant 12.5% alc/vol, with mouth-filling texture and some serious tannin grip. I was bowled over by this wine when I first tried it. If there's a better value Cabernet-focused Bordeaux than this then I want to know about it.
